🏏 From Class 9 to 2025– A Journey Inspired by the King

June 4, 2025

Back in 2008, I was a 14-year-old boy in Class 9, watching a young guy lift the U19 Cricket World Cup with unmatched fire and passion in his eyes. That guy was Virat Kohli—then a rising star, now revered as King Kohli.

Something about his aggression, intensity, and commitment pulled me in. From that day, I became an ardent Virat fan. And over the years, he’s been far more than just a cricketer to me—he’s been my biggest influencer and life inspiration.

🎯 The way Virat approaches the game—with his 120% effort, day in and day out, 365 days a year—taught me the essence of:
• Showing up no matter what
• Giving your absolute best even when things don’t go your way
• Staying loyal to your craft, your purpose, and your people

🌆 Being a die-hard Kohli fan in Chennai, a city that rightfully worships Dhoni, wasn’t easy. From school to college, I was often bullied during IPL seasons. But not once did I consider switching sides. Why? Because commitment breeds loyalty, and Virat led by example.

If he had lifted the IPL trophy in Year 1 or 2, maybe neither of us would have learned what we did through this long, often painful, but beautiful journey.

🏆 After 18 years, watching him finally hold the IPL trophy was emotional—not just as a fan, but as someone who has shaped their mindset and life goals by observing his grit, resilience, and passion.

💡 Here’s the takeaway:
You may not win on Day 1.
You may not win on Day 1000.
But if you show up like Kohli, give your 120% consistently, and stay loyal to your journey—the victory will find you.

Let’s all aim to be kings in our own fields. 👑
